About

Jayson Belt is an executive producer and showrunner of live and unscripted television.

He most recently developed, executive produced, and showran the first season of The Spell Off LIVE!, an eight-episode live celebrity competition series built from a standing start for EightState Studios and Deviants Media and streamed live on YouTube and TikTok from PC&E Atlanta. Launched with no existing channel or audience, the season reached 9.7 million YouTube views.

His live event credits as executive producer and showrunner include the iHeartRadio Podcast Awards, iHeart Jingle Ball for the CW, and the "Imagine" segment of the Tokyo Olympics Opening Ceremony. He co-executive produced and showran Global Citizen Prize for NBC, the Fast Times at Ridgemont High virtual table read, and the 45th Annual Saturn Awards, and served as co-executive producer on Songland and Hollywood Game Night for NBC and on the Teen Choice Awards and Teen Fest for Fox. On the inaugural season of Grand Slam Track he was Creative Producer, developing all athlete content and building the voice of the league's athletes.

As VP of Development at Live Animals / Deviants Media, he leads the slate from pitch through greenlight for broadcast, streaming, and digital buyers, and sits between creative teams and line producers, translating what a format wants to be into what it will cost and how it gets made.

He began in the edit bay on American Idol, The Voice, America's Got Talent, and So You Think You Can Dance. Before television he was the lead singer and songwriter of The Red West, signed to Atlantic Records. He lives in Los Angeles.
